We test drive all of our transmissions

After each transmission is built, we install it into one of our test vehicles and street driven. We not only make sure the pressures are correct and it functions correctly, but we also make sure it feels right. We are the only company to test drive our transmissions that we know of. We used to test them on a dyno, but we soon realized that a dyno does not have a butt! You can not feel if the transmission is shifting and operating properly on a dyno. Test driving every transmission in a vehicle is a time consuming and expensive process, but we feel this is extremely important to insure our customers receive a correctly functioning transmission. This extra step has helped us reach our low return rate.

Yes we have a Dyno / Test stand.!!!

It's now used strictly for research and development of new products, Because...

We install all of our transmissions into one of our two test vehicles, a 70' Nova and a 73' El Camino. We have specially set up these cars so we can test 700R4, 2004R, 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions. Each transmission's pressures are recorded and then driven on the street to insure correct operation, shift timing and shift feel. If something not up to our standards, we correct and adjust it until we're completely satisfied with it's performance.
